More Basic Drawing Course - March 2016

Original drawing by Julie 2016

Last Monday I started a follow on course entitled 'More Basic Drawing' at Sandown Library with a group of enthusiastic students who were keen to advance their drawing skills.  The exercise set was to create a sense of depth with aerial perspective and to use some of the mark making techniques which they had learnt on the first course.

The results that you see here are a combination of finished drawings and works in progress.  Watch this space for more completed works soon!

Many thanks to the students who allowed their work to be shared on the blog and special thanks to Alma Walsh who allowed us to use her wonderful photograph of a beautiful scene in West Wight.
