There are some new exciting courses coming up this academic year, None more so than this September and October. Before we I share the details of those, please look at last terms wonderful efforts. These are just some of the many that the students produced (those not included are the many unfinished works).

Thank you for all those that have allowed me to show there fantastic work. There are some 'OUTSTANDING' pieces by any ones standards i'm sure you'll agree. Many of the students shown above came to me as beginners - it just shows what you can achieve over a matter of  just a few years,

Cliffs, Sand and Sea Paintings October 2018

Welcome to the new academic year and a new course of Cliffs, Sand and Sea.  As you know my classes are open to beginners and more experienced artists.  On this course I was delighted to have two new beginners.  

As usual we started off by looking at examples by famous artists.  We discussed techniques, colour mixes and looked at various sand and cliff samples collected from Isle of Wight beaches.  Over the course of the four weeks the students produced a wide range of paintings using various mediums such as oil, watercolour and acrylic.  

The wonderful paintings created by the class are seen below including my own:

Some are more expressive than others, however each artist in their own way stretched themselves further than they had before in this genre.
