NEW DATES FOR ART COURSES!

This is a list of upcoming courses that will be available from May.  These will have a maximum of five students until the 21st June.

4 week 'Dappled Light Painting Course' (open medium) held at Bembridge Village Hall, Thursday 20th May to 10th June 10am to 12.30pm, £70 cash
(There will also be an afternoon session 1.15 to 3.45pm)

4 week 'Dappled Light Painting Course' (open medium) held at Northwood Village Hall, Friday 21st May to 18th June 10am to 12.30pm, £72 cash

PLUS 
4 week 'Derelict Buildings/Ruins & Doorways/Pathways' held at Bembridge Village Hall, Thursday 24th June 10am to 12.30pm, £70 cash

1 week 'Painting/Drawing Workshop' (finish off paintings or start new ones)
Friday 2nd July 10am to 12.30pm, £28 cash.

En Plein Air Sessions (2.5 hours):
'At the Pier & Beach' (Sandown), Thursday 6th May 10am to 12.30pm, £25
'At Ventnor Botanical Gardens' (Ventnor), Friday 9th July 10am to 1pm, £35 plus your entrance fee

Upcoming Courses & Workshops for Spring & Summer 2020

3 Week 'Exploring Dot Art' starting on Friday 13th March, 12:30 - 3:00pm 
at Ryde All Saints' Church Hall, Ryde, course fee £60 
This fascinating course gives  you a chance to explore the role of 'dots' in art from Aboriginal Art to Post-Impressionist Pointillism, to Ben-Day dots used in Pop-Art to today's Printing methods.  You will explore all 4 'dot' techniques and create a final piece of your choice.  Above is my own interpretation of Aboriginal inspired art.  

1 Day (2.5 hours) Painting Workshop on Friday 6th March, 10:00 - 12:30pm
at Northwood Village Hall, £30
This is a 2.5 hour workshop where you can bring along unfinished works of art no matter what medium and I will help and guide you to finishing them.


4 Week 'Tropical Scenes (towns and beaches)' on Thursday 23rd April, 

10:00 - 12:30pm at Bembridge Village Hall, £70
This is an open medium painting course.  Details to be confirmed


1 Day (2.5 hours) Figures for Paintings Workshop on Friday 1st May, 10:00 - 12:30pm

at Northwood Village Hall, £30

This is a 2.5 hour workshop where we will explore how to add figures into your painting compositions.  We will look at proportions of the human figure and poses.

Upcoming Workshops and Courses for Spring & Summer 2019

Bembridge Village Hall, Thursday, 2nd May, 10 to 12.30pm
4wk Painting ‘Castles, Forts & Chateaux’ course fee £70
Your painting can be of a castle in use or in ruins, it can be a British castle such as Edinburgh, Cardiff, Corfe, Arundel or a castle, fort or chateau on the continent in France, Spain or Germany etc.

Ryde all Saints’ Church Hall, Friday, 10th May, 12.30 to 3pm
2wk ‘Abstract Workshop’ workshop fee £45
An opportunity to learn about in more detail and explore abstract art. Learn about
creating depth and creating a solid composition in abstract art whilst producing a final piece. 

Bembridge Village Hall, Thursday, 30th May, 10 to 12.30pm
2.5hrs ‘Learn Basic Oil Painting’ workshop fee £40.


Northwood Village Hall, Friday 7th June, 10 to 12.30pm
A chance to paint a famous bridge, a bridge over any major river in any city or a quaint little brick bridge over a stream.

2.5hrs ‘Sketching at Carisbrooke Castle’ Friday 5th July, workshop fee £35.
Please pay your own entrance fee into the castle.
An opportunity to sketch and watercolour sketch whilst learning about Carisbrooke,
walking around the battlements and enjoying the museum and garden.
